  1. It’s beyond the scope of this blog probably, but do you trade Forex? Thoughts on trading futures?

What are some of your equity “homework” methods?

What are your key rules to follow?

  2. Hey - No we do not trade Forex or futures. Right now we stick to stocks and options. In trading equity we use technical and historical patterns within a fundamental bigger picture. So we look at the fundamentals of companies and sectors to find out which stocks to buy then look at the technical indicators to find out when to get in and out.
We plan, execute, then review. Always, constantly looking at charts. Keep a journal of market activities and trading activities. What was I thinking when I got in a trade, what was going on in the market? http://www.traderfeed.blogspot.com/ is a good blog on how to coach yourself when trading who techniques I follow.

Key Rules is #1 Never Lose Money. Cutting your loses is the biggest key. We also believe in planning. No plan, no trade. Trades should be researched and planned and not purchased spontaneously. Also, another big one is risk/reward. We like to go long or short at key resistance or support levels. That way our risk is very minimal.
